What to do with too many chocolate brownies

What to do with too many chocolate brownies

Ok, I admit it.  We don’t often have extra chocolate brownies hanging around.  They disappear with amazing speed in our house.  But I did have some I’d stashed in the freezer which I wanted to use up. What better than making a Christmas tree out of them, decorated with Smarties?

Doughnuts for breakfast!

Doughnuts for breakfast!

It’s the weekend and in celebration of getting a lie in (6am this morning when the Little One came in to see us, asked if she could get up and then promptly went back to sleep and 7.30am for the Big One, when the huge amounts of giggling the girls were doing forced us out … Continue reading

Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest

Friday night was Oktoberfest at the club.  We hadn’t planned on going along but the girls were in a good mood so we wandered up.  I had great misgivings about what the girls would eat and what they would think of it all and this was made worse by the fact that they were the … Continue reading

How big is too big?

How big is too big?

We were at a birthday party the other weekend (we had two that day) and as it was mid afternoon I wasn’t expecting the Big One to be fed so I’d given her lunch before we got there.  There was food at 2.30pm: pizza (obligatory at all children’s birthday parties here, it seems) which all … Continue reading
